Peoria's water service director to host Peoria Chamber virtual series

Posted

Watch a virtual presentation called the State of Water in Arizona: Past, Present, and Future, 11 a.m.- 12 p.m., March 31, hosted by the Peoria Chamber of Commerce.

The final guest speaker in the three-part series will be Peoria's Water Service Director Cape Powers. He oversees a $38 million budget for the city of Peoria.

At 170,000 people and growing, sustaining Peoria will depend on  attentiveness to critical infrastructure needs. One of these critical areas of focus is water.

Learn the history of water through a Peoria Chamber of Commerce educational series sponsored by Salt River Project , Central Arizona Project and the city of Peoria.

Learn how our waters came to be, where they come from now and what the future holds for Peoria's water supply.

This series brings focus on building an understanding how water issues impact Peoria businesses and residents in the future and what critical challenges lay ahead to be addressed through advocacy and action.
