Peoria Unified welcomes new administrator
Bagwell named Lake Pleasant Elementary School principal

The Peoria Unified School District Governing Board approved Aaron Bagwell as principal of Lake Pleasant Elementary School for the 2022-23 school year, at the May 12 board meeting.
Bagwell will oversee all functions at the school site related to Peoria Unified’s Strategic Plan — Student Success, Safety and Well-Being, Community Connection and Stewardship of Community Resources. He will begin his new role as principal of Lake Pleasant Elementary School effective July 1, 2022.
Bagwell joins Peoria Unified from Cave Creek Unified School District, where he served as principal for the past five years. Prior to his tenure in Cave Creek, Bagwell served as an assistant principal in Peoria Unified for five years and as a teacher for seven years.
