Peoria Unified School District will host a virtual “Ballot Breakdown” election informational session, 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, to help residents living within the district boundaries understand the school district’s ballot initiatives and the impact they will have on the community.
Superintendent Jason Reynolds and Chief Financial Officer Michelle Myers will host the session.
The Peoria Unified Governing Board in May voted to adopt a resolution ordering a maintenance and operations override continuation and a critical needs bond. Both initiatives will be on the Nov. 3 ballot.
While this event will be streamed live, it will also be available on demand where community members can watch it later on that same link at their own convenience.
