Peoria will honor and celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King with a community event at Peoria City Hall Centennial Park Saturday, Jan. 18.

The event, organized by Peoria's Arts and Culture Department in partnership with Vibrant Communities, will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the back lawn located at 8401 W. Monroe Street.

Attendees can look forward to live arts and cultural entertainment.
