Peoria proclaims October Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Mayor Cathy Carlat has proclaimed October Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Peoria to shine a light on the ongoing battle against domestic violence.

In addition, Peoria City Hall will be lit up purple Oct. 10-16 to spread awareness and to encourage residents to learn more about the resources and support available to those in need.
