Peoria police seek assistance in locating missing endangered male

Peoria Police seek the public’s help in locating, Michael Sterling, a 72-year-old male.

He is described as a white male, 6’0”, 200 pounds, gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black tee shirt, red, white and blue shorts, and gray Sketcher shoes.

Sterling left his home in the area of west Lakeview Road and Wolcott Drive, around 11 a.m. on May 25. He left in his vehicle, a beige, 4-door, 2017 Lexus RS with an Arizona license plate of 248KAE.

He left for food earlier in the day and it is unknown where he may have gone. His family is extremely concerned as this is abnormal behavior for him.

According to family, Sterling has memory issues and other health related issues. Officers have been actively looking for Sterling, but have not been able to locate him.

He is believed to have a pre-paid phone with him but he has been unable to be reached. Anyone who sees Sterling is encouraged to contact Police, 623-773-8311.
