The Peoria Police Department is requesting public comment for its Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies accreditation process.

The Peoria Police Department is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and providing the community with exceptional police services, according to a news release. As part of that commitment, the department has been accredited by CALEA since 1997.

Community members can provide public comments and commendations regarding the Peoria Police Department’s quality of service or other performance information relevant to the department’s accreditation process. The department would like to hear from its residents about how they are doing. Community members can access the public portal to offer their comments through this link, http://cimrs2.calea.org/905. The link can also be found on their homepage.

Please use the CALEA comments to offer general feedback and input on the department’s operations or services. To submit specific commendations or complaints, please use the “Submit a Commendation or Complaint” page on the department’s website.
