Posted

A woman on a supervised visit with her 18-month-old child kidnapped him, authorities said, and Peoria police need the public’s help in locating them.

Brittany Roberts, 30, who has no parental rights since the child is ward of the state, was seeing Zachary Kaman-Moose on a supervised visitation at about 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, near 8900 West Peoria Avenue, police said.

At the end of the visit, the woman fled the area with the boy and another unidentified female in a white truck, police said.

The suspect is described as about 5-foot-6, 145 pounds with short brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen  a dark sweatshirt and pants.

The child is about 26-inches tall and 25 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.  He was wearing a dark sweatshirt with dark pants and blue shoes.

Anyone with information should call the Peoria Police Department non-emergency number at (623) 773-8311 or 9-1-1 if it is an emergency.
