The City of Peoria is about to launch a couple financial assistance opportunities for local businesses.

The Peoria Small Business/Nonprofit Relief Grant Program opens Aug. 19 and will offer up to $20,000 to qualifying small businesses for expense reimbursement.

Businesses who have been approved for and/or received funding from the EIDL and/or PPP programs are now eligible to apply.

For-profit and 501(c)3 nonprofits, as well as sole proprietorships are also eligible. The application period starts Aug. 19 and runs through Sept. 18, 2020.
