Peoria North Rotary Club hosts annual Wine Classic

The Peoria North Rotary Club will hold its sixth annual Wine Classic Feb. 11 at Rio Vista Recreation Center.
The annual fundraiser benefits the Peoria North Rotary Club Charitable Fund, a nonprofit organization that supports projects that benefit education, literacy, health care and the club's primary service project, The Prom Closet.
The event, which includes a three-course dinner paired with a complement of fine wines, takes place 5:30 p.m. in the Lakeview Room at Rio Vista Recreation Center, 8866 W. Thunderbird Road, Peoria.
Entertainment will be provided by Bobby Freeman, organist for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Cost is $125 per person, and table sponsorships are available.

The club's signature service project, The Prom Closet, provides free formal attire to high school seniors attending their school prom. The Prom Closet will be open for several weekends in April and May.
