Peoria neighbor services spotlight: Dress for Success

The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help women thrive in work and life.

Dress for Success serves Peoria out of the William L. Patena Community Center, 8335 W. Jefferson Street.

The vision of Dress for Success is a world where no woman lives in poverty, where all women are financially independent, treated with dignity and respect, and empowered to positively impact their lives and the lives of their families.

While Dress for Success provides clients with professional attire to secure employment, they are so much more than a new outfit. Through job readiness programs, career training and ongoing support, clients gain the confidence and skills to succeed.
