Peoria seeking feedback from residents, businesses for transit master plan

The city of Peoria is seeking feedback from residents and business owners as the Peoria Transit Master Plan process begins.

The TMP will consider opportunities to improve access and mobility throughout a greater portion of the city, including opportunities for autonomous vehicles, local buses, circulators, paratransit, express commuter buses, higher capacity services such as commuter rail and bus rapid transit, and policies that make transit more accessible and easier to ride.

Residents can provide their thoughts about public transportation at https://tinyurl.com/peoriasurvey.

The survey is short, with less than 20 questions, and will be open until Friday, March 12.

There will also be two virtual public meetings, one on Thursday, March 4 at 6 p.m. and the second one on Tuesday, March 9 at 3 p.m.

To connect to the meetings, visit https://zoom.us/j/2765907988 and use the meeting ID, 276 590 7988.
