Peoria hosts Sportsfest for disabled individuals, Jan. 22

The Peoria Adaptive Recreation Program, in partnership with Arizona Disabled Sports, will be hosting West Valley Sportsfest on Saturday, Jan. 22, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Rio Vista Recreation Center, 8866 W. Thunderbird Rd.
Visitors to our website will be limited to five stories per month unless they opt to subscribe. The five stories do not include our exclusive content written by our journalists.

Peoria hosts Sportsfest for disabled individuals, Jan. 22

The Peoria Adaptive Recreation Program, in partnership with Arizona Disabled Sports, will be hosting West Valley Sportsfest on Saturday, Jan. 22, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Rio Vista Recreation Center, 8866 W. Thunderbird Rd.
This free event will feature adaptive cycling and wheelchair basketball for individuals with physical disabilities and/or visual impairments.
Ages five and older are welcome.
Sports chairs will be available to participate in both sports.
