Peoria hosting series exploring American music

The city of Peoria is hosting an informational and performance series exploring American music.

Dates for the events are:

Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. - Gospel
Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. - Jazz
Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. – Motown

Each date will feature Valley vocalist Sandra Bassett.

It is free to attend the shows at McMillin Theater inside the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts, 10580 N. 83rd Dr.

There is limited seating. Reserve tickets online at Theaterworks.org or call 623-815-7930.
