The Arizona MG Club, in partnership with the city of Peoria’s Arts and Culture Department, will host the sixth presentation of the British Wheels on the Green charity car show.

This event is free to the public, with vehicles on display starting at 9 a.m. and an awards ceremony at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29 at Peoria’s Centennial Plaza Park, 9875 N. 85th Ave. Classic and special interest British cars and vintage cycles are displayed.

Proceeds from the show support Sunshine Acres Children’s Home, in Mesa, which provides comprehensive care and support to children who have been permanently separated from their parents.

Last year’s car show saw more than 140 vintage British cars and cycles. Residents who wish to enter their cars may do so for an early registration fee of $35 by Sunday, Oct. 1.

Visit britishwheels-az.info to enter your vehicle.

“We are excited to see a growing interest in our show,” Arizona MG Club president Steve Strublic shared in a press release. “Last year we welcomed over 140 entrants and 19 supporting sponsors and vendors with new and exciting vintage cars and cycles joining the show each year.”

The show display will feature recognized British marques including Austin Healey, Austin Mini, Delorean, Jaguar, Jensen Healey, Lotus, MG, Rolls Royce, Royal Enfield, Singer, Sunbeam, and Triumph.
