Peoria author’s new book focuses on stronger immune systems

A Peoria author and doctor’s new book focuses on ways to strengthen one’s immune system to be more resistant to illnesses, including COVID-19.

“Creating An Invincible Immune System,” by Dr. Timothy Gerhart, demonstrates how eating smart, including whole, fresh foods high in fiber, can impact an immune system, as can adding supplements like multiple vitamins, Vitamin K2-D3, magnesium, Omega 3, and effective probiotics that fit unique needs.

“Research shows that we can strengthen our immune system to be more resistant to the flu, COVID, and illness,” Dr. Gerhart stated in a news release. “It is easier than we may think when we add enough ‘good stuff’ and release enough ‘bad stuff’.”

Some of the “bad stuff,” he explains, can include toxic fear and stress, harmful electric and magnetic fields and electropollution, junk food and sugary drinks, as well as too much screen time and inactivity.

The book is a guide to developing lifestyle choices that support creating a more “Invincible Immune System.”

Dr. Gerhart is the founder and director of Renovare Wellness By Design and Renovare Brain Wellness, 18969 N. 83rd Ave., Suite 1, Peoria.

He is a frequent lecturer and author of four previous published books: “7 Steps to Wellness,” “Change Your Brain, Transform Your Life,” “Why Am I Not Right Since My Concussion,” and “Living Free of Dementia-Solving the Puzzle to Prevent and Reverse Cognitive Decline.”

This newest book, “Creating an Invincible Immune System,” will be released next month.
