OrthoArizona, with locations in Peoria and Glendale, has moved to essential/urgent orthopedic care access on a case-by-case basis. The clinics will also offer routine appointments through telemedicine to help minimize COVID-19 exposure and help save valuable supplies and resources needed in hospitals.
OrthoArizona officials made this decision in the best interest of their patients and the community, according to a news release.
OrthoArizona workers continue to act in accordance with the governor’s executive order to halt elective surgeries. The business is taking all necessary precautions to protect patients, staff, physicians and the community from the spread of the coronavirus. This includes continuing rigorous cleaning and screening processes for patients coming in for urgent appointments, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as Arizona Department of Health Services recommendations.
“OrthoArizona was founded on quality and for this reason we cannot express enough that we are doing this for everyone’s safety and well-being. Our patient’s health has always come first and we are grateful for each and every one of them,” OrthoArizona President Dr. John Bradway said.
