Mueller: Vote for Payne, Pingerelli

Posted

Legislative District 21 has a clear contrast in candidates this year for the state legislature.

One is taxpayer friendly who address problems and looks for ways to solve them without raising taxes. The other is a candidate whose answer is always to raise taxes.

It is important for any person new to Arizona to understand that it is no fluke that this is a low tax, affordable state. The state constitution requires a balanced budget each year. It’s history is one of legislators that always kept the cost to taxpayers forefront in their minds. Many of you may have come from states with runaway deficits and high taxes that decimated your standard of living.

Reps. Kevin Payne and Beverly Pingerelli are taxpayer friendly. They are problem solvers that always keep the cost to you in mind. You can check out Kevin Payne’s record by searching https://www.azleg.gov under House members for different sessions. You can check Beverly’s record in her current role as a Peoria Unified School District Board member at www.peoriaunified.org/Page/118. See what they believe in and stand for at https://www.ld21team.com.

On the opposite end is Kathy Knecht, a former PUSD school board member. Her many years there had one consistent trend. Her solution was always to raise property taxes.

Keep Arizona an affordable place to live. Vote for both Kevin and Beverly for state representative.
