Martha Lee Brady

Posted

Martha Lee Brady passed peacefully on September 11, 2021, at the age of 90.
Though the world has lost a sweet, loving, and talented soul, Martha has joined her beloved husband, Roger, sisters Jean Vogen and Susan Grimm, and parents Homer and Ruth Chastain in heaven as she passed gracefully into the arms of the Lord.
Martha was born in Decatur, Ill, on June 3, 1931. She was the middle of three sisters, raised with solid small-town values of honesty, integrity and caring for others. Her caring for others was evident in everything she did from being a loving wife, a devoted mother and daughter, and a good friend to being a trusted co-worker. Her generosity of spirit was evident in the work she did as a volunteer caregiver, an exercise instructor, and an enthusiastic staff member at Arizona Health foods as she encouraged everyone to be their best.
Martha’s creative spirit was evident in her creations of custom beaded jewelry and lovely needlework.
Survivors include her three daughters, Cheryl Dible (Rick), Karen Hansen, Susan Baxter (Steve); her five grandchildren: Cory Lundberg (Audrey), Chris Lundberg (Caitlin), Kyle Lundberg (Katie), Kelly Dart (Sam), and Christian Hansen (Yasmin Solberg); and 3 great grandchildren, Marshall, Ben, and Roger Lundberg.
In memory of Martha please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.
