Intermittent ramp, lane closures on Loop 303 in Peoria this weekend

Drivers who travel the Loop 303 (Bob Stump Memorial Parkway) in Peoria should plan for intermittent ramp and lane closures in both directions at Lake Pleasant Parkway this weekend while an overhead utility line is installed.
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to expect delays and plan extra travel time while the following restrictions are in place:
The eastbound Loop 303 on-ramp, westbound Loop 303 off-ramp and all travel lanes will be closed intermittently beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, and ending at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6.
Each closure will last about 15 minutes.
Drivers traveling eastbound will still be able to exit Loop 303 at Lake Pleasant Parkway and can continue east on State Route 74 (Carefree Highway). Westbound drivers who want to avoid the brief Loop 303 closures should consider using westbound Happy Valley Road/Parkway in the north Phoenix/Peoria region.
Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers will stop traffic as needed while overhead utility line work is underway. ADOT advises drivers to be prepared to stop and use caution around all personnel and equipment.
Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
