Legacy: Our schools offer TSMC families 'academic excellence'

Posted

The welcomed arrival of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company and its new fabrication plant marks a new chapter in Arizona. Our state is poised to become an international destination for high-tech jobs as some of the world’s brightest minds will build the technology to power the future.

Arizona’s first fabrication plant, scheduled to begin production in 2024, will bring scientists, engineers and community members to the North Phoenix area. Many of TSMC’s workforce from Taiwan will be looking for new resources and services, such as their children’s education, to ensure the entire family is prepared and eager for Arizona living.

That’s why we would love to share with our new neighbors at TSMC how Legacy Traditional Schools’ 15-year history of academic excellence and strong community support has positioned students for lifelong success.

At Legacy, with differentiated instruction and advanced-level content and pace, students will have the opportunity to achieve and exceed commensurate with their talent. Students with advanced knowledge and exceptional learning capacity are given the option to enter an accelerated curriculum across subject areas.

The RISE (Recognizing Individual Student Excellence) program offers advanced students an advanced level and pace, the ability to explore topics more in-depth, and offers opportunities for student leadership. Legacy’s RISE program is just one aspect of what sets Legacy apart.

Legacy Traditional Schools has seen great success with our Back-to-Basics approach to learning. This means our classrooms offer direct instruction, with individual desks in rows. It’s a way to stick to what works in education - challenging students and focusing on developing highly capable learners.

As engineers and advanced high-skilled members of the workforce and their families settle in Deer Valley because of TSMC, we encourage all to consider Legacy’s public and tuition-free schools for their children’s education.
