Learn about Peoria police and fire-medical at annual public safety night

The Peoria Police and Fire-Medical departments are bringing together family fun and safety education for the annual G.A.I.N. Public Safety Night.
The event is 5-8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, at Pioneer Community Park, 8755 N. 83rd Ave.
Kids of all ages will enjoy the chance to get an up-close look at police cars, fire trucks, specialty emergency vehicles and equipment.
The event will also include displays from safety organizations, and a variety of kid friendly activities including face painting and bounce houses, making this a great night for the whole family.
