Peoria’s Sustainable University is hosting a Designing for the Desert-Landscape Conversions class, offering information on xeriscape principals that could help to lower water use in your home.
It will also include tips and ideas for designing a desert and water friendly oasis right in your backyard.
The class will be held 9:30-11 a.m., April 1 at Rio Vista Recreation Center, 8866 W. Thunderbird Rd.
All Sustainable U classes are free but space is limited.
