The Diving Devil Dogs 2nd annual event to raise awareness for veteran PTSD and anxiety takes place as the Diving Devil Dogs Ruck/Ride/Rock-N-Roll Veterans’ Expo 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at Pleasant Harbor at Lake Pleasant, 8708 W. Harbor Blvd.
The event will start with two different activities: a 3-mile ruck through the mountains surrounding Lake Pleasant and a bike run up to Lake Pleasant (starting point not yet determined). The completion of both activities will finish along the Lake Pleasant shore where participants will find live music and food vendors. Madison Rising, a hard-hitting rock band from the greater New York area, and others will be playing live.
This is an opportunity for veterans and families to get educated on the wide variety of local resources offering services.
All proceeds will be distributed to local non-profit veteran organizations.
