Lake Pleasant Parkway pavement project in north Peoria moves into next phase

Contractors will begin phase four and five work of the Lake Pleasant Parkway asphalt mill and overlay project on Feb. 16.

The road will be closed to all traffic westbound/northbound between 83rd and 95th avenues.

There will be full 24-hour closures throughout each phase of this project. City officials say to heed detour signs posted throughout project area.

The final phase of this project, pavement work in the intersection at 83rd Avenue/Fletcher Way/Lake Pleasant Parkway is scheduled to take place over the weekend of Feb. 26.

Scheduling may be impacted by weather delays.
