Game & Fish providing opportunities

Arizona Game and Fish is accepting applications for its K-12 small education grants.

Recipients can get up to $2,000 to help implement wildlife-focused lessons and education in the classroom. There are opportunities to fund unique, educator-designed field trips (even virtual ones). There is even an option for Game and Fish’s former professional development participants who are looking for funds to help implement some of the strategies from those workshops.

Deadline for the first round of scoring is Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Visit azgfd.com/wildlife/heritagefund/program/k-12-small-grants for complete information and to access the online application.

In addition, Game and Fish will be hosting three informational discussions: 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6; 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7; and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11. These provide opportunities for applicants to learn more about the grants and to get questions answered.
