Here are the Independence Day closures for the city of Peoria

City offices will be closed for the Independence Day holiday July 4.

Here are the upcoming Independence Day July 4 closures for the city of Peoria.
• Rio Vista Recreation Center 8866 W. Thunderbird Road will be closed.
• William L. Patena Community Center, 8335 W. Jefferson Street will be closed.
• The Peoria Main Library 8463 W. Monroe St. and Sunrise Mountain Library 21109 N 98th Ave. will be closed and will reopen on the following Saturday, July 5 at 11 a.m. Materials due on July 4 will not be due until the next business day. The outside bookdrops will be unavailable during the closure.
• Trash and recycling pickup for Friday will move to Saturday.
