Heat relief stations open in Peoria

Posted

The city of Peoria is collaborating with the Maricopa Association of Governments to hold the Heat Relief Regional Network.

The city has set up cooling stations that are open throughout the summer. Each location provides water and an area to cool down for those experiencing heat related stress or illness.

Now it is even easier to locate a station through the newly updated Heat Relief Network Mobile App, which includes a Google Map feature that provides a more user friendly and quicker look at the heat relief locations available in the search vicinity.

To begin using the mobile app, visit https://geo.azmag.gov/maps/hrn/#/.

Hydration station hours will be the same as business/operating hours at each location.
