Local family-owned restaurant Haymaker, known for its award-winning breakfast, burgers, and extensive whiskey selection, announces today the expansion of its concept in the West Valley.
The original north Peoria location will be relocating across the street and the fourth location will open its doors in Buckeye, both this November, according to a news release.
Founded by Westside Concepts in 2013, this all-American restaurant is set to open in Buckeye at Verrado's new Sunrise Market while relocating its Peoria location across Lake Pleasant Parkway to Sunrise Promenade. In addition to its existing locations in Goodyear and second Peoria location at the intersection of Thunderbird Road and the 101 Freeway, the new venues will continue to offer an all-day menu that includes traditional favorites like Country Fried Steak and Eggs and 100 percent Angus Chuck beef burgers, along with signature specialties such as the Haymaker Benedict and Pulled Pork Skillet. The restaurant is celebrated for its family recipes, and they are excited to serve more families across the West Valley, the release said.
“Haymaker is extremely special to us at Westside Concepts and to my family,” said Westside Concepts Owner and West Valley resident Joey Lucidi. “It was our first concept, and it has propelled the entire company and its growth. We couldn’t be more excited to bring a brand new reimagined design and location to north Peoria, and a completely new location to the great neighborhood of Verrado.”
The new location in Buckeye, designed by Social Design Studio, will combine rustic elements with a modern aesthetic with natural wood finishes, farmhouse influences and an open layout blending comfort and luxury. The 4,800-square-foot restaurant will feature a main dining room, large bar and patio for indoor and outdoor seating. The new north Peoria location will offer loyal patrons the same great service, now enhanced with an expanded seating capacity of 5,000 square feet, ensuring an improved customer experience. Both locations will be open daily for breakfast served all day, lunch and dinner.
Haymaker will join new shops and restaurants at Sunrise Market in Verrado, Phoenix’s fastest growing submarket, with 35,000 square feet of shopping and dining for Buckeye residents. Located at 20990 W. Sentinel Drive #101, Haymaker will be one of the first restaurants to open at the new retail center. North Peoria residents won’t have to look far, as the new location is a hop and a skip over to 24759 N. Lake Pleasant Parkway.
Haymaker will soon be hiring for dozens of positions including servers, bartenders, food runners, bussers, expeditors, hosts, line cooks and dishwashers.
