Gone fishin’ in Peoria

Kids ages 5 to 17 are invited to join Peoria’s Parks and Recreation Rangers to learn how to fish or improve their skills.

The next session is 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 22, at Pioneer Park Lake, 8755 N. 83rd Ave.

Gear is provided.

The lake at Pioneer Park has Trout, Channel Catfish, Large Bass, Sunfish and White Amur.

Cost is $5 for residents and $20 for non-residents. Call 623-773-7137, or register at Peoria’s recreation registration site.

The class code is #100021.
