The Glendale Chamber of Commerce plays host a breakfast forum, “Education and Workforce Readiness Now and For the Future,” from 7 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25 at the Arizona Broadway Theatre, 7701 W. Paradise Lane in Peoria.

The forum, planned by the chamber's education committee, will feature five superintendents from local elementary and high schools and some of their closest business partners. Attendees will get a look at the partnerships education has with local businesses, emphasizing its impact on students and workforce development.

The event will also feature a workforce fair to highlight the Valley’s higher education partners and workforce development programs.

“This event exemplifies our chamber’s mission to cultivate a vibrant and thriving economy by bridging the gap between educational institutions and the dynamic needs of our workforce. Together, with our dedicated partners, we are shaping a future where every member of our community can contribute to and benefit from our collective success.” stated Joshua Gunn, President and CEO of the Glendale Chamber of Commerce, in a press release.

The chamber thanks Gold Sponsors: CORE Construction, Credit Union West, Desert Financial Credit Union, First Things First and Glendale Community College.
