Free meals offered for youths in Peoria

Youths have opportunities for free meals in Peoria.

Peoria Community Center, 8335 W. Jefferson Street, welcomes all kids under the age of 18 for a free meal Monday through Saturday. The St. Mary’s Kids Café serves dinner Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. and lunch Saturdays at noon.

The program runs through May 22, 2025.

In addition to a nutritious daily meal, kids will be welcomed to a safe and friendly environment and may take part in activities such as:

• Academic support (homework help, tutoring)

• Physical fun (sports, games, fitness)

• Creative arts (drawing, painting, crafts)

• Life skills (cooking classes)
