Join Peoria Firefighters Charities and local businesses for a free back-to-school event Saturday, July 27, at the Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N. 83rd Ave.
Students in grades K-12 may select a backpack that is pre-filled with supplies. Students must be present to receive backpacks and school supplies. In addition to free school supplies, there will be free haircuts and vision checks for kids. There will also be classroom supplies available for teachers.
Gates open at 8 a.m. and run until all supplies are gone. Use the main stadium entrance and proceed to the shaded area in front of the Team Shop.
