Final August Acoustics performance nears

Posted

The final August Acoustics performance is 7-8:30 p.m., Aug. 30, at the Peoria Center for Performing Arts, 10580 N. 83rd Dr.

August Acoustics is a free folk and bluegrass mini-series, offering small and intimate performances of acoustic tunes played by a talented lineup of local folk and bluegrass artists from Arizona to California.

The final performance includes music by the Angel City Bluegrass Boys, a group of young Angelenos steeped in the stylings of traditional bluegrass.

Grab a beer or glass of wine and some light snacks from the concessions, and settle in for an entertaining evening of musical storytelling. A specialty dessert vendor offering homemade treats will also be available for purchase.

Space is limited, so reserve your free seats in advance at www.theaterworks.org.
