Expect closures along Loop 303 in Peoria

Drivers should plan for closures of Loop 303 beginning Friday night, April 3, as work continues on a technology improvement project.
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to expect delays and use detours while the following closures are in place as crews install traffic flow sensors:
Southbound Loop 303 will be closed between Lake Pleasant and Happy Valley parkways from 10 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday, April 4. Also, the southbound Loop 303 Lone Mountain Parkway on-ramp will be closed concurrently. Detour: Traffic can exit to southbound Lake Pleasant Parkway and then travel westbound on Happy Valley Road and return to Loop 303.
Westbound Loop 303 will be closed between Interstate 17 and Lake Pleasant Parkway from 10 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday, April 5. Detour: To travel west, traffic can use westbound State Route 74 or westbound Happy Valley Parkway instead of Loop 303.
The eastbound Loop 303 on-ramp at Lake Pleasant Parkway will be closed from 10 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday, April 5. Detour: Traffic can use northbound Lake Pleasant Parkway to westbound State Route 74 to reach Interstate 17.
