Entries are now open for Peoria's Storywalk writing contest.

Young authors ages 6-12 may submit an original picture book to be featured in Peoria’s Storywalks.

There are three ages groups: ages 6-8, ages 9-10 and ages 11-12.

The deadline to apply is July 31.

Winning stories will be featured on walking paths at Paloma Park, Pioneer Park, and Rio Vista Recreation Center.
