‘Devour the World’ coming to Peoria

Devour Week moves signature event to West Valley

The anticipated culinary week, Devour Week, returns Feb. 15-23. This year it is making a special stop in Peoria 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15 at Centennial Plaza, 9875 N. 85th Ave., for Devour the World, one of three Devour Week signature events.

Devour the World celebrates international cuisine with cultural music and dance performances from around the world. This is the first year that Devour the World is moving from Phoenix to expand the reach of Devour Phoenix and Devour Week to West Valley residents.

“Peoria’s events scene continues to get better and better, and I am thrilled to have this multicultural, culinary adventure coming to the heart of our city,” Mayor Cathy Carlat stated. “I can’t wait for family and friends to gather as they ‘Devour the World’ together.”

Started in 2009 by Kimber Lanning, Local First Arizona founder, Devour Phoenix is an initiative of Local First Arizona and collaborative of local chefs working to create a food and dining scene. The cornerstone of this coalition is Devour Week, a multi-event food and drink experience hosted annually.

Tickets $55. Visit devourphoenix.com.
