Deobler: Will voters be able to save our democracy?

Posted

Has anyone considered the genius of the Constitution in the way its content was drafted?

The “Framers” and many citizens were well experienced and irritated at being controlled by a powerful government.

One can only imagine all the ideas and solutions propagated in the local pubs and taverns of that period! The feudal system was finally being challenged. This new course of influence would be shaped by the citizen individual instead of a controlling hierarchy. The concept would be called a republic.

It all comes down to what “type” of control.

Can a society exist without control? I doubt it. Is it the type of control that hinders or propels a society into a consistent and constructive change? I call it planned chaos.

When chaos is dominant, individual ideas and thoughts flow freely, thus solving problems through a consensus of random ideas. Totalitarianism hinders free thought unless it agrees with the hierarchy.

The Framers recognized the freedom of faith to be the cornerstone of the new republic. Secularism breeds hierarchy control. Freedom of worship insured the citizen individual that this form of governance would be a healthy, moral and spiritual force to perpetuate and strengthen the republic of We the People.

The articles of the Constitution established the parameters of the new government. The citizens were to base their freedoms on these articles. How times have changed!

Freedom of thought is now being replaced with political correctness, woke, opinionated journalism, lies that become fact, scare tactics, and all the garbage that comes with radical secularism. Hence, moral decay. The precipice is getting closer and closer.

Do we vote out the radicals or allow the downhill roll of a long declining leadership and a bad economy to become dominated by other totalitarian countries that lack our freedoms?

Tune in Nov. 6 to find out.
