The CORE Institute announced the addition of seven new providers to its team in the greater Phoenix area. It was founded to deliver orthopedic and neurological care and build upon a foundation of community service. With the addition of these new providers, The CORE Institute has more than 180 clinical doctors and providers across 19 locations in Arizona, including Peoria.

CORE Institute welcomes 7 new orthopedic providers

The CORE Institute announced the addition of seven new providers to its team in the greater Phoenix area. It was founded to deliver orthopedic and neurological care and build upon a foundation of community service. With the addition of these new providers, The CORE Institute has more than 180 clinical doctors and providers across 19 locations in Arizona, including Peoria.

“We are thrilled to welcome these providers to The CORE Institute. As we continue to expand our clinical program in Arizona to meet patient demands, we want to ensure that we are always building a team that can be responsive to patient needs from a quality and convenience perspective. This allows us to continue to deliver the highest quality care to patients throughout the Valley,” Vice Chairman of The CORE Institute Dr. Jason Scalise said. “We are committed to providing our patients the best musculoskeletal and neurological care and our team of highly-qualified providers helps to ensure that happens for every patient, every time.”

  • Amanda Wright, DO is a fellowship-trained and board-certified orthopedic traumatologist. She specializes in complex fractures and comprehensive trauma care as part of a dedicated team of specialists. After completing her doctoral degree from Touro University – College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Wright received residency training from Northwell Health – Plainview Hospital and Peninsula Hospital Consortium and completed additional fellowship training in orthopedic traumatology from Wright State University in Ohio. Before joining The CORE Institute, Dr. Wright cared for patients as a trauma and fracture care specialist in Florida.
  • Sarah Bagley, PA-C, MPAS is a certified physician assistant specializing in treatment options for orthopedic injuries alongside Dr. Michael Talerico. Before joining The CORE Institute, Bagley cared for patients at a Level-1 trauma center in North Dakota. During her time at this Level 1 trauma center, she earned the first–assist position in the operating room, gaining additional time learning to care for and treat patients. She earned her undergraduate degree from Concordia College and her graduate degree from Saint Catherine University.
  • Kolbe Hemmele, PA-C is a certified physician assistant caring for patients with hip and knee conditions alongside Dr. Robert Cercek. Before joining The CORE Institute, Hemmele cared for patients as a medical assistant and physical therapy technician and earned his graduate degree in physician assistant studies.
  • Nally Ofosu, PA-C is a certified physician assistant caring for patients alongside Dr. Evan Freedman. Before Ofosu joined The CORE Institute, she cared for patients as a physician assistant, providing medical evaluations, preforming in-clinic injections and developing patient care plans. She also cared for patients as a nurse’s assistant where she assisted patients with basic medical needs. She earned her graduate degree from AT Still University and her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. She is active in the medical community, holding memberships with the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants.
  • Tanner Olsen, PA-C is a certified physician assistant working alongside Dr. Anuj Daftari, treating patients in pain management. Before joining The CORE Institute, Olsen cared for patients as a medical assistant in Idaho. He earned his graduate degree in physician assistant studies from the University of St. Francis.
  • Rebecca Zemel, PA-C, MMS is a certified physician assistant caring for patients with fractures and trauma alongside Dr. Niloofar Dehghan. Before joining The CORE Institute, she cared for patients as an Emergency Department Medical Scribe and Patient Care Coordinator. She earned her graduate degree from Midwestern University.
  • Ezekias Zink, PA-C, MMS, MS is a certified physician assistant caring for patients with hip and knee conditions alongside Dr. Robert Cercek. Before joining The CORE Institute, Zink spent four years caring for patients at a local urgent care facility, specializing in Sports Medicine injuries.
