Cheri and the Pacemakers will bring their classic rock mix to a 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10 gig at Sunset Bistro at the Lakes, 19260 N. Westbrook Parkway, Peoria.
The combo features Cheri Adams on vocals, keyboard and electric guitar; Dave Albert on electric guitar and vocals; Larry Hill on bass; and Dan Krohn on drums and vocals. They play a mix of songs from the 1960s and ’70s focusing on oldies rock and blues from the likes of the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Eric Clapton, Linda Ronstadt, Creedence Clearwater Revival, B.B. King, and Santana.
The core of the band began in Seattle where Ms. Adams, Mr. Albert and Mr. Hill played together as well as in several other bands. Prior to that, Ms. Adams had performed as a solo piano bar player in Japan, Berlin, The Virgin Islands, Alaska, Canada, and on Princess Cruise Lines.
Ms. Adams and Mr. Albert live in Sun City West. Mr. Hill lives in Westbrook Village in Peoria, and Mr. Krohn lives in Sun City.
