The City of Peoria clerk’s office is inviting all interested residents to apply to serve on the Veterans Memorial Board.

City seeking Veterans Memorial Board members

The City of Peoria clerk’s office is inviting all interested residents to apply to serve on the Veterans Memorial Board.

The Veterans Memorial Board is responsible for the development and promotion of activities related to the recognition of veterans of the armed forces and their contributions to the community. They also make recommendations for the creation and preservation of the city’s numerous war and service memorials.

The board typically meets at 5 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month.
