Peoria’s libraries, community center and city offices will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day.

City facilities closed for Veterans Day

Peoria’s libraries, community center and city offices will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day.

Rio Vista Recreation Center will be open regular hours from 5 a.m.-8 p.m.

In addition, trash and recycling will not be collected on Friday. Instead, garbage and recycling normally collected on Fridays will be picked on Saturday Nov. 12.
