Celebrate the annual Independence Day fireworks display along the shores of Lake Pleasant in north Peoria, 5-10 p.m., July 3.

The event itself is free to attend.

There will be kid activities with unlimited inflatable waterslides and bounce houses available. A live concert will be performed by the band Outside The Line. There will also be food trucks, novelty vendors and more.

Lawn chairs and coolers welcome Canopies are allowed until sunset then they must be taken down.

Attendees should consider staying the night. Pleasant Harbor offers full-hook-up sites and dry camping options with a reservation.

Camping

A limited number of dry camping sites have been released for the 3rd of July celebration. Each site will be $35 per day with a 3 night minimum purchase. Sites can only be booked in-person at the RV office or over the phone. Please call 623-235-6140.

Admission

General parking is $20 per vehicle, which includes general parking and admission for everyone in the vehicle, boat or trailer. This is the same pricing for online or day of the event admission. A vehicle parking pass gets visitors into Pleasant Harbor and into the event. General vehicle parking passes may be purchased the day of the event.

Preferred vehicle parking is $50.00 per vehicle, which includes reserved parking in lots closest to the event.
Preferred Vehicle Parking guarantees a parking spot closer to the event and exiting out your own exit leading to 87th Ave. Limited spots available for preferred vehicle parking.

Reserved boat parking

It is $50 per vehicle/trailer, which includes parking in lots closest to the event and admission for everyone in the vehicle and boat trailer. Reserved boat parking guarantees spots long enough for the trailer and vehicle, easier exiting and not in the general parking crowds. Limited spots are available for boat parking.

Officials say general parking will not sell out. There will be plenty of space for everyone even up to the minute the fireworks go off, so don’t worry about getting a general parking space.
