Burhop: No good deed goes unpunished

As the saying goes: No good deed goes unpunished.

I'm referring, of course, to recent actions by our wacky Arizona Republican party. Kelli "chem trail," et al, sanctioning Rusty Bowers for upholding the law, keeping his promise to the office he was elected to, defending the constitution and standing against President Trump's illegal and criminal attempt to subvert the will of the voters.

I don't know how many Republicans consider this sanction damaging to Mr. Bowers' career but I view it as a badge of honor. I would vote for Rusty Bowers at any opportunity. A rare republican today. A man with true character.

Arizona, Republican Party, Kelli Ward, chem trail, Rusty Bowers, election, censure
