Burhop: Lesko’s view of herd immunity ‘makes no sense’

Posted

As a Republican I am puzzled at Congresswoman Debbie Lesko’s stance on who should get the COVID-19 vaccine.

I believe the concept of herd immunity was first mentioned by former President Donald Trump. Yet, Rep. Lesko says “the shot should only go to American citizens.”

Are non-citizens not a part of the herd? This makes no sense.

I am not a doctor but the overall herd being vaccinated would certainly benefit all people, citizens or not. I guess Rep. Lesko is not a doctor either.
