Bell Road project in Peoria is rolling out, more to follow

City of Peoria streets division and its contractor Nesbitt Contracting have begun a rehabilitation project on Bell Road, from Loop 101 to west-end of city limits, the area west of 92nd Avenue.
Construction hours are from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday-Thursday.
Asphalt rehabilitation efforts will commence after ADA sidewalk ramp and concrete improvements are finalized. This project is slated for completion on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. For project and schedule updates, visit www.peoriaaz.gov/streetmaintenance.

Recently, the Peoria City Council approved $2.2 million to contractor Via Sun Corporation for micro and slurry seal pavement rehabilitation and preservation for a number of city roads.
Funding for the project was allocated in the fiscal year 2020 capital budget.
The Public Works Department, streets division, in fiscal year 2019, presented the results of a technical condition survey of all the city’s streets and its pavement management program.
The streets division has completed an evaluation and determined that the following Peoria roads are priorities for treatment with a micro seal:
94th Drive from Plaza Del Rio Boulevard to Thunderbird Road; Plaza Del Rio Boulevard from 94th Drive to Thunderbird Road; 93rd Avenue from south end of roadway to Thunderbird Road; 75th Avenue from Paradise Lane to Bell Road; Olive Avenue from 75th Avenue Road to 87th Avenue; Pinnacle Peak Road from Lake Pleasant Parkway to west end; 102nd Avenue from Country Club Trail to Pinnacle Peak Road; Beardsley Road from 83rd Avenue to 112th Avenue; Beardsley Road from 83rd Avenue to bridge; Edgewater Road from Westbrook Parkway to Westbrook Parkway; Westbrook Parkway from Union Hills Drive to 91st Avenue; Lakeview Road from Westbrook Parkway to Westbrook Parkway; Vistancia Boulevard from Whispering Ridge to Westland Road; Lone Mountain Parkway from Vistancia Boulevard to Loop 303; El Mirage Road from Vistancia Boulevard to Lone Mountain Parkway; Whispering Ridge from Sunrise Point to Vistancia Boulevard; Sunrise Point from Ridgeline Road to Lone Mountain Parkway; Sunrise Point from South end to Ridgeline Road; Ridgeline Road from Upcountry Way to Vistancia Boulevard; Dysart Road from Redstone Drive to Ridgeline Road; Sunset Point from Sunrise Point to Lone Mountain Parkway; 137th Avenue from Creosote Drive to Lone Mountain Road; Butler Drive from 107th Avenue to 114th Avenue; Kelton Lane 84th Avenue to 91st Avenue; 87th Avenue form Paradise Lane to Bell Road; 84th Avenue from Kelton Lane to Bell Road; and 88th Avenue from Kelton Lane to Bell Road.
