The Armer Foundation, a local nonprofit that helps families with children who have extreme medical needs, is hosting its 4th annual holiday toy drive to benefit the Banner Cardon Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Oncology Unit, through Dec. 15.
Several local businesses throughout the Valley are taking part as drop-off locations for the unopened toys which will provide holiday spirit, smiles and hope to children battling for their lives.
“A brand new toy can mean the world to a sick child, and as parents who have been through this, we know what a difference just one toy can make in a child’s life when they spend several weeks in hospital,” said Jennifer Armer, founder of the Armer Foundation.
The Armer Foundation, which also helps families with medical expenses, thanks those businesses for hosting a donation site and providing a way for people to donate toys.
To donate, the Armer Foundation is asking that Valley residents drop off any new, unwrapped toys for kids between the ages of newborn to teens to the following drop-off locations throughout the Valley.
