AM/PM announces hiring incentives for new employees
Posted
The city of Peoria is seeking outgoing, positive, and responsible individuals who desire to work with youth in the AM/PM before and after school care program.
Staff members will supervise and monitor children by actively participating with them through play and staff-led enrichment, such as literacy, arts and crafts, and STEAM projects.
The ideal candidate will provide an enhanced experience, enjoy positive participant interactions, and welcome the opportunity to make a difference.
The city of Peoria recently received a grant through the Department of Economic Security for funding to provide hiring and retention bonuses for employees that provide childcare. This incentive allows the city to offer new employees hired between Aug. 1 and Sept. 16, a hiring bonus to be paid out on an upcoming paycheck.
In addition, new employees may also be eligible to receive a second bonus on their Sept. 23 paycheck. For details visit www.peoriaaz.gov/jobs and review the city of Peoria’s employment opportunities and search “Childcare Provider - Rec Leaders.”
