Bring the heat to honor local first responders

Join Abrazo Arrowhead to honor local first responders and spice up your day – at the third annual Abrazo Arrowhead Chili Cook-Off, Nov. 8.

Residents are invited to taste a variety chili recipes and meet local first responders.

Then, vote for the best chili recipe. The best chili wins the famous “Chili Bowl Traveling Trophy.”

No registration necessary, just show up, eat, vote and have fun!

“Besides delivering amazing care and service to our community, this event is a nice opportunity for Abrazo Arrowhead’s clinical teams to celebrate and relax with our Fire Rescue and Medical Air Transport partners and make amazing chili. We don’t just save lives - we make great food as well,” says Stephen Garner, CEO of Abrazo Arrowhead Hospital.

Once the public has judged its favorite chili recipe, a special committee will judge the five following categories:

• Most traditional chili recipe
• Spiciest chili
• Most flavorful chili
• CEOs choice chili
• Most unique chili recipe
