Take in a ceremony or an adaptive cycle ride on Veterans Day in Peoria this year, Nov. 11.
The city of Peoria is hosting an intimate Veterans Day ceremony, from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Rio Vista Recreation Center, 8866 W. Thunderbird Road.
The ceremony includes the presentation of the 2023 Honor Wall additions and a flyover by the 56th Fighter Wing from Luke Air Force Base.
Veterans and friends are also invited to join the Adaptive Cycle Ride, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Enjoy cycling, also at the Rio Vista Recreation Center. AZ Disabled Sports sponsors this free event. All abilities are welcomed.

A reminder that all city of Peoria offices are closed Nov. 10 in observance of Veterans Day. Peoria Public libraries will also be closed Nov. 10-11.
Solid waste collection will not be affected by Veterans Day.
